The elevators are just a few steps from registration and are quick. When you check in they will print cards that will work as your player card in the casino as well as your room key. I have never had to wait like at some hotels. When you drive up to the hotel valet, someone is right there to help you with your luggage. Whoever does their landscapping is an artist. First of all, the grounds are absolutely beautiful year round. We frequently stay at casinos in Las Vegas, Laughlin, San Diego and Palm Springs, so I feel like I can make educated comparisons. We got the players cards, I gambled a little bit and we have received free room offers ever since. We went to Barona's the first time, unplanned, five years ago because we were in the area and friends suggested we go for the buffet. I read the previous review in which the traveler complained of bedbugs and poor service and I just had to write a positive review. We just returned home today from a two night stay.
I have stayed at Barona's at least 20 times in the past five years.
